★★★★★ This story is the best--my favorite! There is a simple reason for this; Jack and Clemy are two lone souls who found each other during World War 1 (the Great War.) If ever there were a challenging book with courage and passion, this is it! This author will do well with a sequel, I think. Betrayal lives up to its title in ways that surprised me. Awesome way to get lost in a book.
